2010 SPRING SOFTBALL (Grades 3-8 Girls)
ON-LINE REGISTRATION FOR ALL CYO PLAYERS IS MANDATORY. To register for 2010 Spring Softball, please follow the instructions below:
1. ANY PLAYER WHO DID NOT REGISTER FOR FALL SOCCER OR WINTER BASKETBALL ONLINE: Any player in Grades 3-8 who did not register on-line for Fall 2009 soccer or Winter 2009-10 basketball, must go to the www.washcyo.com website, click on "CYO On-Line Registration," then "Players (to register participants)," and then follow the instructions for obtaining a username/password and completing the online registration process. (There are also instructions on the Online Registration link to the left.) After registering online, follow the form/fee turn-in directions under paragraph 2.a below.
2. ANY PLAYER IN GRADES 3-8 WHO DID REGISTER FOR SOCCER OR BASKETBALL ON-LINE:
a. Grades 3-8 Player Who is Not An All-Sports Registrant. Bring the fee payment to the St. Jane CYO on Thursday, January 7, 2010, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Building; or (ii) mail to Paul Bollwerk, 9506 Kingsley Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814-1637.
Inclement Weather Note: If the Montgomery County schools cancel evening activities on January 7, the CYO form turn-in session will not be held that evening.
b. Grades 3-8 All-Sports Registrant. As you have already provided us with the fee and all necessary paperwork in registering for All-Sports, there is nothing further you need to do.
3. FEES for timely registration are as follows:
Grades 5-8 $80
Grades 3-4 $70
Checks should be made payable to "DeChantal CYO" and multi-player/family checks are acceptable. Checks can combine Spring Baseball/Softball/Soccer/Track registration fees, but please include player names, grades, and sports on the check memo line or in a separate note.

4. LATE FEE: To be assured of a place on a CYO Spring 2010 softball team, a child’s online registration form and fee must be returned during one of the two form collection sessions or postmarked no later than January 7, 2010. Late registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis, but a $25.00 late fee may apply to any registration not completed by Friday, January 29, 2010.
5. CLOSED TEAMS/WAIT LIST: Effective Immediately, all Rookie (Grades 3-4) and Junior Varsity (Grades 5-6) are CLOSED. To get on a wait list, please send an e-mail containing the player's name and grade to bollwerk@erols.com. DO NOT send any registration/fee materials. You will be contacted for these items if an opening occurs.
6. OTHER SPRING 2010 ST. JANE CYO SPORTS ACTIVITIES - The St. Jane CYO will sponsor Track (K-8; see Track link for details) as well as T-Ball (Grades 1-2; see Baseball link) and Soccer (Kindergarten; see Spring Soccer link) clinics, which will have separate registration processes in the Spring.

Batting Cage:
Please contact the St. Jane CYO to schedule time for your team in the batting cage. Prior approval and adult supervision are required.
